Where Were You My Love?

Thoughts of past and troubles felt
Still ponder in my mind
A yearning then for love and hope
From dawn till dusk of night
A crying of my soul to live
With happiness within
The prayer to find a man like you
Before my day began
And now I feel a love-not lost
My face has bright new skin
The toil of my past has gone
And life of troubled men
I feel your love within my heart-
And peace within my soul
The search for you has come to pass
With you-my life does glow…
