A dove outside my window
on this glorious winter’s day
It flew upon the window sill
for love to bring my way
It looked inside the window pane
and stared upon my face
The hope it gave to me that day
was filled with his true grace
A dove outside my window
As I looked upon my life
It saw the pain I had within
My heart could not suffice
The dove kept trying to get in
to love me as he did
The beauty was too much for words
Its eyes knew I was sad
A dove outside my window
and my heart has healed just fine
awakening my soul for him
his proof of love divine
