A poem that Ponders Life and all the mixed messages that we so often receive!
But looking higher - we see a better plan...

           What  Is  It?   

                              
              Life - What is it  ?
  A time to see how things work ?
            A time to see events happen ? 
            A time to hear sounds of love & laughter -
  And to think of pain & woe ? 
         
   A time to climb all over creation -
   To find a place all your own  ?
             A time to design a craft -
             With which to bring one fame ? 
                     
             Alas  NO !  But so much more! 
        Tis a time to make things work! 
             Tis a time to act on that which is happening!
             Tis a time to be the cause of sounds of love & laughter!
       Which fight against pain & woe!
                  
   A Time to dig down and put in foundations  -
             For one and all  
   A time to watch a baby be born  -                        
                 and Wonder at it all
                    And to walk Humbly before your God!      
 
                                                     AMEN
