Not once my love

Not once did I ask for a kiss, for an embrace, a thought, or a hold,

It did not invade my mind, to say touch me once, my love, and whisper these words in my ear, I love you,

Not once did you suggest love as a gift,

Is in not in me to want such love to be given,

Love’s passion never ached under my sheets, nor does cries of desire bed me,

Lover, why is it you do not feel me with Constance,

My thoughts of a caress, so long ago and the images of you in thought do not exist in my dreams,

I do not moan your name in my mirage of need or want, and it does not follow me into more,

Pretender of again, suites me well, my façade, a smile laughs at me in my own river of tears that blanket my pillow,

Love leads its way down my road, halted by obstacles, Gathering of moss cover’s loves doors, as the beating of hearts does not continue on a journeys end,

Through a stained glass I can only conclude in a whisper, not once did it ask for more,

Unreachable are the site of a distant love that only holds itself in my champers of secrets, my closet unleashes the want of a girls dreams and the need of a woman’s pleasure,

As I lay in wait,

Prince charming and my name does not connect themselves in a sentence,

As the years past me by, age shows itself in life, but not in heart, as pains ache has never left my side,

And again I can only say not once did I ask for more aloud, not once did I plead for love to hold my hand as we walk down a paved road filled with the smell of sweet rose and lilacs,

My diary, not in this life did I ask you for suggestion, as I laid in wait alone,
