Seashores loneliness

Over looking the ocean I watch the sun as it sets, color of rays that delight my eyes, a breathe of air that stills my lungs, and a moment in time that held me for this moment,

A touch of love, comes from its waves that touches these rocky shores, taking in the embrace of sand along the way, it is a giver and taker, no one knows or can speak its name,

Searching you find that it is not along, for shore to shore it has made a name, and like you others seek it’s wonder from one end of the earth to the other,

As I set and watch in wonder I think of who has sat here, who will tell my same story, and who right at this moment is looking upon its beauty as I am,

Another word I say, as I take it in, as I pretend to be alone, and as I reach down just to feel it pass through my fingers, soothe as silk, it’s caress is of beauty, and it’s secret are far beneath it’s ocean floor, no name does it whisper, no secrets does it tell, for it will take care of its own,

What I cannot see it has seen for me, and for I cannot feel it has felt for me, it has surpassed me in strength, for it’s guilt is known, what tears it shed, for alone it knows it dead,

What tears does it cry, as for it claims no one without cause, this is my story of the oceans glory? And the earth’s pain,

I seek to find what I can not see, for my arms is to embrace to show you moons rays that glitter suns beams,

A touch of innocent, and a peace of heaven, for I claim no one, as my own,

As readers, we can feel the sands of the seas of time being washed away in the tidal waves of this work.

I think your poetic prose touches the very core of one's soul.
I really felt as though I was near the ocean, feeling it calling out to me ....this poem is a cry of nature. SuBlime!

Well I think that you line of seeking to find what you cannot see is the basis of faith in that we search for something more. It is there but can be seen in the heart.
