· deep breaths.

· apathy takes me.

· nothing more.

· ode to growth.

· living in a dream.

· indecisive.

this one's a little existential.

Wednesday, December 11, 2019

What must it feel like to breathe your last breath?
We will soon find out,
As the span of our lives is nothing to be measured.
For what is time?
We’re all running out of it as every second goes,
With no hope for return.
We can only do our best with what we’ve been given.
The good far outweighs the bad.

As ready as I am, last night my mouth got so dry that I could hardly open it to call for assistance. I tried keeping my mouth closed and breathe just through my nose, but that has always been difficult for me. So you struck home quite literally as I sensed the distinct possibility how I will breathe my last breath. Because I physically can't anymore.

Doing good every day until that time comes. Lovely poem confirming that sentiment.

We're born to die, and that's the cold hard truth. It's up to us to make the best of our time here, and be the best we can be.
