there’s nothing more
that I want at this moment
of contentment
than to realize
that I’m truly okay
and happy with myself
and this life I’ve been given
and I’m grateful
for many hours
I’ve spent in agony
because of this moment
accounts for so much more than those times
it makes this moment so much more beautiful
considering the pain I’ve gone through
to get to this point
of beauty
and peace
and calm.
