· apathy takes me.

· long drives.

· nothing more.

· ode to growth.

· living in a dream.

· indecisive.

· that afternoon.

deep breaths.

allowing the growth is difficult, but worth it.

Tuesday, May 5, 2020

my life is my own
to live and to feel
to grieve and to hope
when I feel so full that my eyes overflow
with joy that I haven’t felt
to this degree
in quite some time
I’m happy to exist
I’m grateful that my lungs
have had the courage to inhale the good
and exhale the bad.

An inspiring read, this reminds me of a quote I heard recently, "Just keep swimming". Yes, it's from the movie Find Dory, but I feel like it still applies. Sometimes we don't know where we are heading, but this doesn't necessarily mean we are headed down the wrong or incorrect path. Keep aspiring for greatness!

A great metaphor for taking in the good and expelling the bad. A lesson for everyone to take to heart.

Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Those deep breaths
are what life's about.

Just breathe.
