Poem Artwork

Full Circle

The start:

Smile and watch the world go by

Cry and the rain comes tumbling down

Frown and don’t count your blessings

Sing and dance like a clown

An empty page:

What can I write on this empty page

To fill the lines with words or phrase

I don’t know where to search for letters

Or symbols to form another maze

The idea:

I could write about how I feel for you

But hopefully you don’t need that clue

Words and feelings are jumbled up

Stuck inside a pot of glue

Inspiration:

I sit and stare at this empty page

My mind screeches out in rage

And then an inspiration creeps up

And slowly crawls away

The End

I used to have a lot

But now I have much less

The words I have are much more

Than I had before
