Have a Sha Bebe Holiday

Oak trees were filled with firefly lights
Candles lit up the braided rug road on this special night
The sugarcane was cut and sent away to the mill
Leaving the fields empty and frost-filled

Midnight was the time that Madame Plume’s feather clock went tick tock
The time that Queen Faustina came outside with a huge red velvet box
Filled with the Christmas tree and all of the stuff to decorate for the season
This year was going to be for a very special reason.

Wreaths were made of pine needles and red ribbons from Madame Poulette
There were special satin ribbons that came from her magic flying quilt set
Red poinsettias were set along the front porch and filled the entire doll land
And all of the dolls were ready to decorate everything with their own hands

Santa and his elves were stuffing many big bags up at the North Pole
Filling each one with lots of presents, and getting ready to go out into the cold
Marie La Vie had her wharf fully lit up with kerosene torch lights
Her vision was set to go another way for this blessed night.

Marie sent a message with the Cajun Angels to Santa.
To bless the children in the states with his many gifts a plenty
Because Madame Plume had POPPED one million dolls to life
And Madame Poulette zapped one million quilts, much to her delight
~~~~~~~~~
Bring the humans plenty of hope, you dolls who are so special in my heart
Make everyone happy for the great chaos that spread so many apart
Families who are left with no home, cold in the winter, with little to eat
Tell them that the Sha Bebe Dolls will bring them together in a Louisiana heart beat
~~~~~~~~~
………..and with one tap from Madame Poulette’s magic wand in hand.
One million Sha Bebe Dolls were in flight on magic quilts headed to the united lands
They brought love and hope to everyone on this special Christmas day
Like no one else in this country has done yet in their very, very slow way~!
