No to "Yes"

Each yearns for echo
Of "true ."
But, alas, no duplicate
There is of one's "yes."
Perhaps, but where
In the ocean of ultimacy,
Of everywhere and no place?

We reach out to those
Near, available -
And seek
For God speaks not
In our mundane prison.

Some say he answers
But beyond here and now
In the language of out there,
Beyond the cage within cage
Of body, earth and syndrome.

Each other we see as hope
For "yes,"
Of possibility for indication
Without obvious explanation.

Upon trial of essence
How long to learn?
We are never to discover
Here or now ourselves
Echoed in each other?

We are not now
Were not then
Or will be ever
But in amalgamation
Of all now and then and when.

Confined to specific time and place
We fail to comprehend
The all in all of ever,
Thus despair of peace
During now.

While heart deceives
Senility eventually relieves
The prime that believes
In possibility.

Some great lines... I especially like,

"For God speaks not
In our mundane prison."

Nicely done!
