FAITHFUL TOO
As soaks the rain
through silken sands,
as bathes far seas
warm breeze;
as velvet gloves
coat supple hands,
love hastens
to my needs.
As roaming tides
strange shores
do kiss
but forever
flow back true ;
as swallows n'er
a summer miss,
my love returns
to you.
Together twain
we are complete
like sun and moon
make light;
burn bright your fire
to give me days
and I will be
your night.
This is stunning! An exceptionally beautiful penning, Kate. And look, you got Aberjhani to be straightforward. LOL. No, I mean that. He admitted what he was thinking, international man of mystery that he is. ;-) This poem reminds me of the romantic classics. ~~Nordette

Some poems are so good its great when they are repeated!
I say take those thoughts with you onto the beach and have yourself a wonderful vacation...a tip from a beach girl: Be careful where the sand goes, it's a nasty scrape and a sore tomorrow..LOL! You will be missed while you are away, but you really do deserve this vacation, make the very most of it.

Twain--->in halves back to the Bronze Age that I so love. This reads like Homeric theology that defines the blueprint for union which lyrically describes a thick golden cloud that veils the lovers as they consummate the union on earth spilling the bounty. As for me, sweet Kate, I am jumping on ice to create the massive rumble of thunder and I hope some woman out there is rubbing flint to make lightning! I am faithful too!
Sweet write, sweet Kate and shows the depth and breath of your love and desire for your soul mate. You have captured the moment of spirit for the love that is given and taken and made it a contract of love to be forever. Lucky dude is your man.

you are a Master Poet..truly love your work!
Within these lines, images of nature's eternal splendor, passions of the soul, and convictions of the heart curve beautifully beside each other somewhat like the colors of a rainbow shining in loving unison. A rather overboard response I know but what can I say? Your poety makes my muse a little giddy and so it rambles instead of saying simply that it very much enjoyed both FAITHFUL 1 and FAITHFUL TOO.
