Sweet salty breeze lifts the essence of life
through my veins as I wait to see you.
Salted margaritas under the cabana and a
candle dancing its tiny flame as I can only
imagine how beautiful you are. Forever you have
walked through the chambers of my heart
to search my soul finding your connection to
my life. What will this day hold as I stand looking
down the heated sands that burn your love
into my body. My toes curl through the grains to
find the coolness beneath like the underside of
our bedroom pillow. I watch the flowers in the vase
breath before my eyes as they wait to spread their
beauty on your face.  I stand in the presence of the
sun as I sip from the nectar of my imagination as
your body dances throughout.  As the sun tans
my body and decorates my heart with thoughts
of your heated passion, I see your white flowing
sundress being twirled on the ocean’s breeze coming
toward me. Your seductive and purposed walk
overcomes me. I want to run through the fiery grains
to lift you high and carry you forever, but I stand immersed in all your glory as I watch the beach stand still to admire your entry. I can only imagine how many would like to take you home, but know only one who will. I see your face light up with an ocean’s wide smile that covers my senses. You stop and cast a glance toward the sun as the yellow bow falls from your long hair and floats merrily toward the cresting waves. A symbol of your past drowns in the deep of the water never again to haunt you or taint your walk in life. Your hair swirls slowly as the breeze lifts up your smile to capture my life as we stand in the sun searching for our destiny.
