Some days, every word I speak is gold. Other days, I am invisible. Avoided. Some days, I walk on air. Other days, I drown. Some days, I am sure, positive, momentarily happy. Other days, I don't know up from down. What I once saw as a smile, now I am not convinced. What does he or she want? What I once thought of God, I do not know. What I consider beauty is now more than the whites of their eyes. I no longer race to please, I am not jumping as high for the hoops. If I could crawl inside, I would. But what would be there?
You've posed some poignant thoughts and raised some interesting questions in your poem, Sharon. These are the "some days" we all face at times, and thank God it's not all the time. On the down days, nothing seems to click and you just want to go back to bed and start all over again.

We can lose ourself in all those question, I cannot say how many times I have run through those same thoughts. I think you have expressed here what many of us have experienced.
