Deep in your eyes Glimmer of a distant past Observed by no one Tucked away past the surface Deep in your heart Masked by layers of present truths Chronicles of the past And words never spoken Gently pressing your lips An emerging passion once felt Within your smoldering soul A space renders uninhabitable Within your hands Cradled in velvet gloves Jewels dusted in memories Still sparkle on the rainy days Memories of the past glisten Like the full moon on the snow Pleasant thoughts succumb To the misty haze in the horizon

Truly magical look at love and feels like looking at it through a frosted glass of romance, not sure if it is a longing for love that was or a reawakening of it but either way it is beautiful.
