Much has happened in such a short time
Without reason, without rhyme
Each journey has left its watermark
And the lessons are each time more stark

And yet, the splendor endures all about
Joy and happiness none do without
Moments of cheer mingle with doubt
Blissful existence - no signs of lout

Shocking developments occur in time
Watcher from the Heavens never changes
We re-enact everything, just like a mime
patiently seeking approval as it so happens

Life is unrelenting - Life is a wonder
The mystery of which we can only ponder
However, if we overthink things too much
We risk a blunder - and make a splotch

Let us all simply enjoy breathing and breeding
shyness and coy - extrovert and outspoken
Proud or prude - proactive or killjoy
None of us can afford to miss the Life-Boat!
