Short, sharp and pointedly said. Hidden within the rose is the sweet smell that attracts us to stop and smell. Hidden with the cactus is no smell but forcefulness to survive in desert and dry conditions. Neat write.

Love it, Gina. Clever,concise...and it makes me smile. My "crazy" sister's favorite plant is cactus, and roses are mine...we've both gotten a few thorns. (then again, haven't we all?)
