Summary of Whispers in the Dark:

Whispers in the Dark is a contemplative poem about the quiet and often mysterious moments of the night. It explores the themes of longing, introspection, and the search for deeper meaning. The narrator, unable to sleep, reflects on the whispers that seem to call to them from the shadows—offering a glimpse of something beyond the ordinary. These whispers symbolize hidden truths, unspoken desires, and the mysteries of the soul. As the narrator waits for the dawn, they sense a journey toward light and understanding, a hopeful promise that all things lost can be found in time. The poem conveys a sense of longing for connection, clarity, and peace, set against the backdrop of a tranquil yet emotionally charged night

In the stillness of the night,

I hear the whispers, soft and light,
They speak of things I cannot see,
The secrets that are calling me.

The moonlight paints the sky in gold,
A tale of dreams, both shy and bold,
I long to chase what’s just beyond,
Where shadows fade and hearts respond.

The world sleeps on, but I remain,
Awake, absorbed in quiet pain,
A thought, a wish, a fleeting sigh,
The quiet echoes of the why.

For in the dark, there’s something more,
A space where souls can find the door,
To places far beyond the night,
Where all that’s lost is bathed in light.

So I wait for dawn, its gentle grace,
To lift me from this hidden place,
But still, the whispers softly call,
A truth that answers every fall.
