Each performance is dominated by the stance,
the tone, the image, the expression.
All are contained in one body
breathing, smiling, engaging.
No, no family present but
In the voice, the stance, the mannerisms
is distilled the generations of those
who once performed in their homes
dreaming of an open stage
from where you now perform.

This is a true statement, we "inherit" the mannerisms, stance, and "walk" of our parents and grandparents, it is very noticeable. I enjoyed reading it as I like brief poems full of meaty content. Nice.
