I wrote this in Hawaii, when I was at a conference about child abuse. This goes to the woman Cindi Mason. I fly to her.
FLY
If I could fly away right now and get away from the day I'm having I would fly to you. I choose to fly to you because your arms are open and the last time I was in them I felt safe. If I could fly away right now and heal from the pain I have today I would fly to you, because you accept me and love me and never judged me. I choose to fly to you because I want to feel the unconditional love that I only felt when I was with you! I fly to you because you've loved me and still do.
This is what real friendship is until the end. Cindi and I are best friends and are coming out with a book of poetry together. So please help me and tell me what you think of all my poems. So I can choose the ones for the book.
