I need a break
from this streak of bad luck
I need some release from this iron-fisted grip of sameness. This gray.
I'm starting to fill this hollow with my own exhalations.
My own exasperated breaths.
I'm choking on the stink of my own failures and flaws.
This undercurrent of erosion is soaking into my foundation, softening it, me, whatever. I sense structural degradation. I'm gnawing away at the core of my being trying to exorcise this entropy.
This non-feeling feeling is wordless and formless and spineless and permeates the sick drunk thickness I'm trudging through in search of terra firma. I'm savagely clawing for metaphors and allegories and hand-outs...I'd even take a dose of utter beguilement at this point.
That's it. That's enough.
I'm locking myself in a hallway and sealing the entrance (and exit). I'm going to turn myself inward and bleed this thing out.
Brian I think sometimes if it wasn't for bad luck that I would not have any at all. Things come in cycles and I had some pretty tough experiences of late but hells bells I got through despite the ones that want me to vaporize. Hard to hang in there but never do anything to satisfy someone else until you pick the time to do it.
