Adam failed But...

God so loved mankind
with happiness at the start
he gave us a lovely garden
just like a beautiful park
he wanted to talk to us
about the breezy part of the day
wouldn't you loved to have been there
to hear what he had to say
he made us in his image
and that's the way
he meant for us to stay
so why do we try so hard
to change our path and stray
we should know he loves us true
for he sent his only son
to die for me and you
he offers life everlasting
to all who obey his word
so just open the Bible
it's the greatest news ever heard
so when you're feeling troubled
and feeling all alone
and feel you need some comfort
he'll always be at home
