We shared so much
through years of time,
with your gentle hand
held tightly in mine

We walked through days
of pleasure and pain,
smiled and laughed in
lifes sweet refrain

I'm sorry I had to
say goodbye, my father
called me to his
mansion in the sky


Do not cry,
I'm with you still
I remain in your heart
and always will

Put your faith in God,
He'll help heal the pain
Go forward in life,
Do things in my name

Someday we'll be
together again when
your life's journey
has come to an end

You'll find peace,love
and joy, when I come
to meet you, as you go
across the great divide
