My brother in law, James, passed away tonight, May 6 2009. He was in a lot of pain and suffered greatly. He's finally at peace. His wife Irene died exactly two months ago, March 6 2009. Now they are together forever and ever.
You fought the battle bravely,
you did your very best.
God saw your plight and took
you home, to find eternal rest
The journey was a hard one,
it took a heavey toll.
You hung on till the end,
not wanting to finally go
Death crept silently in
and stole life's light away
Its something we all must face
on our final judgement day
Our tears come like falling rain
drenching our hearts with sorrow
We look forward to dawns light,
which brings hope of new tomorrows
We will not let your memory die,
your spirit still remains
I know some day with out a doubt,
we will all meet again
Until that day arrives,
whenever it may be,
you'll always be in our hearts
in thought and reverie
And when God calls us home,
our souls will once again meet.
We'll be together for all eternity,
where Gods blessings never cease
Oh MaryGrace I am so saddened to hear that he passed in God's home, but you are right and he no longer suffers. May God's love and compassion bring you peace and solace....

So sorry about your loss, enjoy reading this eulogy though and commemorative poem for him. Sounds like something we all should think about our lost loved ones in our life.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss dear MaryGrace but You already know that God held out His arms, took James pain away and reunited him with his wife waiting to take him home.This is a beautiful tribute to your brother-in-law. Thank you.
Sorry to hear of your loss, MG; you're in my pryaers! But nice to know they are now together in Heaven; that's the way it should be! He's no longer suffering, and they're in a much better place. All you can do is remember him and know that pain for them both is at an end; they're now with Jesus! Know you and your family are ever in my prayers/thoughts, especially during this time of grief!
