Valentines Day is fast approaching and it's the season of the heart! These are some things I have done through the years to keep our marriage more interesting and exciting.
1) Write A poem or love note.
Put it in his lunch box, on the pillow or by the news paper
2) Serve him breakfast in bed,
or have a romantic dinner for two with soft melodic music.
Cook his favorite dish!
3) Take him to a movie he really wants to see or watch TV shows he likes
4) Go for an intimate walk hand in hand or to a sporting event with him. Do something special he really likes to do
5) Take time to listen to his daily thoughts and hopes for the future. Share your feelings with him
6) Don't contradict or criticize him
in front of others.Try not to argue or fight about little mistakes made or if he forgets something.
No one is perfect!
7) Touch, embrace, hold his hand.
Take off his shoes, rub his feet. Make him feel like he's the most important person in your life!
8) Play romantic music, dance, share memories of times gone by. Laugh and have fun together
9) Give back rubs,or relaxing messages
10) Create a dreamy bedroom atmosphere by putting rose petals on silken sheets. Add scented candles, a bottle of fine chilled wine and a sheer nightgown
11) Have a sexy champagne candlelight interlude in the hot tub
12) Don't forget to say "I LOVE YOU" often! ALWAYS let him know how great and special he is !
13) Be his wife, lover, partner and best friend, forever and ever....
MARYGRACE THIS IS A SHARING OF WONDERFUL ADVICE FOR WEDDED BLISS...MARVELOUS ADVICE ON HOW TO SHOW ONE'S 'MATE' HOW MUCH THEY ARE REALLY LOVED AND CARED FOR. THANKS FOR SHARING AND GOD BLESS YOU AND YOURS. HAPPINESS ALWAYS. LOVE, JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
MaryGrace I love each one and have lived through the years in love with the same man as I have followed those lines to the fullest. I just wish everyone would. The greatest advice.
Mary,I wish I can find a woman who is special and dedicated to making a man happy the way that you express in this list. Its the littliest things that makes the biggest difference.Your husband is a very lucky man.I want to add something on the list and that is dont complain about things that are pointless whether its forgetting to do something, making a mistake, etc and just appreciate what is truly important.I see couples have arguments over the most obnoxious things ever and those things can make a couple loose focus on why they were in love to begin with.Reading this list makes my day.I would be in heaven if a woman can do those things for me and cherish every minute of it.
I want you and your husband to have the greatest Valentine's Day ever because you two deserve it.take care
You ole romantic, MaryGrace, I love you! Not many partners are prepared to make the kind of effort you describe...and I dare say relationships are the poorer for it...but don't forget to encourage him to make an effort, too, it works best when it's both ways. This I like!
