A repost of a poem I wrote in 2008 that I feel is worth sharing again.

Time should count for something,
not just idleness and play.
Time should be used wisely
on any given day.

When life has a purpose,
it opens many doors.
Gives one encouragement to go on,
looking for much, much more.

Set your sites on something
you really want to do.
With God's guiding hand,
your spirit will be renewed.

As days turn into months,
months turn into years,
You've left a part of yourself
for many to see and hear.

A beautiful woven tapestry
written with threads of time
will be your lasting legacy
for future generations to find....
