For Richard , who left my life five months ago on July 6, 2012.
Lonely is my heart,
with out you by my side.
Empty is my world
because you are not here with me.
Five months ago you left,
when God called you to his home.
Five months ago my heart
was torn apart and life will
never be the same.
You were my knight in shining armor,
who was always by my side.
Your love and tenderness surrounded me,
made my life complete.
Sunfilled days filled our lives
with joy beyond compare.
The bond of love we shared was unique,
as two hearts merged into one.
Loving thoughts of you still remain,
filled with the afterglow
of loves sweet refrains.
I'll always love you my dearest,
those feelings will never change.
Someday we'll meet again
and my heart will be lonely no more,
for I know you will be waiting,
at Heaven's open door....
So sad, but comforting too, I know you miss him, but writing it down for all to feel your pain, helps some. Nothing replaces lost love though, but memories are nice to remain with us.
Unpardon me but I relent it boldly;

And however, unlike itself, mysterious, unknown, and untested,
So it be foreseen in my tireless search.
I just read your background story. You are a courageous lady and a gifted poet. I am certain Richard approves of your beautiful tribute to him. Stay strong, dear lady, till you are together again.
