All mornings are beautiful to me. But some transcend and I want to photograph them, bottle them, if I could. But the photos fail to capture the moment and I try words instead, hoping that, when I read them again, the feeling of that perfect morning will return.
It must be wonderful to wake up to a landscape like that. I must contend with less than half of a suburban backyard. Fortunately, I can still see ducks, geese, hawks and vultures along with numerous other critters that come and go. Sometimes in the evening, a pink sunset thrills me.
These song lyrics and art are tales, tides and twinkling lights - tunes telling stories of warmth and sun, city and sand, paths that lead, and the coins we can keep in the Karma Bank. Spirit's been bypassed for sorrow, dreaming of a better tomorrow .
