What if we asked the world one question? ( Maybe we could have a dialog.)
We're the faces and the voices Selecting, making choices Praying on our knees This is for the people still in high school Shop, college, and home schools Suburbs and streets Consumers and the masses From different social classes But tell me if you please (Chorus) We're the people... We're the people�. Are we free? We're the people �. We're the people�. Are we free? To those homies down on Southside The cool dudes in Bedford sti Playa's an' freaks What about the kids with those latch keys Babies with no daddies If ya' livin' on the streets Mommies on th' welfare Social workers, outcast Back home, wall street Teachers, doctor's, lawyers, hoods Bankers,ballers, bakers, thugs Tell me tell me (Chorus) We're the people... We're the people�. Are we free? We're the people �. We're the people�. Are we free? Preachers an' believers Givers an' receivers Tell me Are we free Rolling hard in Hollywood Tell me Is it all good Tell me Are we free Brothers an' sisters Locked up !!! The kids at this concert Tell me Are we free People in Afghanistan Told me But I don't understand Say what? Peace my brother freedom came at birth, I love this I am one of the people from bed sty and believe me they are doing great things, freedom come from the state of mind, continue to teach my brother, I love your style.
