I wrote this Oct of 97 and it was published in 'A Sun Filled Dream'
I had in mind aborting life - putting to death --abuse - neglect - and down right killing of the innocent in wars and murders due to a sick mind
L I F E
How precious is the life God gave us
How much we really cherish it
To take a life is such a waste
To give a life is such a blessing
Suould not we be all that God ask us
He gave his life that we might have it
That faith and hope and love continue
The rock on which we built our country
So true yet so ignored by the people who could do so much to put an end to the suffering.

I agree that we should learn to protect life, the only trouble with that scenerio is that THEY have no concept of life except to kill those whom they disagree with and all in the name of religion.
