Out of reach...

Haunted by the voice that shatters silence like the eagle's echoing call bouncing from the walls of the Grand Canyon, once you hear that voice you will know what Ulysses felt when tied to the ship's mast he heard a Sirene's voice...

I have heard your voice…
and it’s chasing my soul
over insurmountable distances
with the most wanting sound,
asking me to love you forever
…if only that...I could…

I have your indelible image…
on my eyes, like a tattoo,
sometimes wet with tears,
our between distance is so long
that we can reach each other
only by using this humble words.

I have a very jealous heart,
to share you…it will not,
like an old miner wouldn’t share
possession of a gold’s mother lode,
heart that heard your chasing voice...
...loving you…it will never stop.

The veiled picture of a poetess was used as an illustration of beauty, which could have been anyone else of my friends, but that was not well taken and I apologize for it.
The poem is a poetic description of longing, dedicated to no one, directed to no one and for no one in particular.
I hope that with this words I have made myfelf clear of any misconseption, if not so, please feel free to contact me.

I tried to send you some snow, but the fax returned a message saying..."Out of Reach" and when I read it, I'm not sure if those few tears I added to the snow, or the heat from the destination, caused it all to melt...or was it the feeling I was getting reading this? Now I have a puddle.:)
Great pen Georg!
