A pseudo erotic complain from a mortal demigod of a trechery from a high priestess, and of course, she is a woman

Poem Artwork

Oh Hermes! Oh Hermes Messenger…
you forgot from Zeus his written call,
so I could climb the Sacred Mountain
and witness how Aphrodite was born.

I am from all the mortals’ humble ranks
the one that was to be chosen by abstraction ,
not being as beautiful god as the fair Apollo,
or wise in the deeps like the old Poseidon.

By Olympus Zeus wishes, Eros is my name,
envy of Fauns, Pan and Satyrs, of them all,
because after a Vestal is caught by my arms
her fire inside will consume the entire world.

I was received with so joyous greetings…
but they are jealous, those other aging gods,
because I ignite lust in the goddesses hearts
when I describe to them how my tongue works.

Eros is my name, the giver of long pleasures
erupting from virginal fountains like fireworks,
slowly opening thighs like petals of a flower…
arching bodies in sweet agony of pleasure throbs.

Clio, one of the Muses, lover for a night just once,
that I was the lover of Artemis everybody knows,
in my arm also Thetis, that naked Nymph in the seas
and don’t forget Persephone of the underworld.

To Hera’s charm succumbed, jealous wife of Zeus
that cavorted with human women searching love,
she used me to get back to the Olympus mighty,
where she didn’t get punished, but then…I was.

Well, i think the ancient gods and goddesses lived and enjoyed their lives to the fullest, notwithstanding the ancient rules and punishments. Amazing myths and legends! Did their thing without the 'hang ups' of the new generation.

Be well,
Sheri

By the WIIL of Zeus, MANDAMUS that all kids in the Olimpus' kindergarten enjoy everlasting blissful life as long as they read the Poet that recites to Holicon's Holy Assembly of the MUSES, ~ known in the planet Earth as Georg Edvard Mateos. Seal and delivered on this thirteen day of January, (Dedicated to JANUS, and celebrated in all Provinces of the Greek-Roman empire.) by the Holy Keeper of The Seal of the Olympus.

I did enjoy the reading of this glorious Helicon's flower titled, "Olympus Wouldn't Call...".

I LIKE THE WAY YOU MATCHED ENTITIES THERE. You did make a fusion of diffusible knowledge and poetic technique. That is what makes Apollo proud, Minerva smile; Erato happy, and the Commanders in the Olympus dispute Your company.

I salute You, Poet.

Thank You for adding value to Poetry, and for enriching The American Fine Letters.
