She is tired, she wishes to let the waters take her to their deepest secret place, but as long as he hold her hand she will never sink away from his heart.
The white piece of paper unfolded
to show me the lines with the words
saying that you were so ill and tired
that the only thing left was to give up.
Across thousand of miles of silence
I hear in that sea of despair you stop
floating and let the waves to cover
your lovely face as you let it all go.
Knowing your pain I‘m still wishing
having you for myself just a little more
so you can see the sky one more time
in my arms holding you…my love.
Deserts have no tears only bitter solitude
and I am the saguaro cactus there alone
with arms up in the saddest of the prayers
asking to keep my little flower a little longer.
The piece of paper crunched in my hand
with that wailing paper has in its voice
protesting the brutality of my deep anger
at being so far away as you are so alone.
When those dices rolled giving you a life
it was never meant to be for you a choice,
your heart broken so many times, and then…
just a long wait for me one day to come.
My tired little one, let me hold your hand
so you can feel the most pure tender love,
then, one by one, from this piece of paper,
despair will vanish from each of its words.
Perhaps we will never meet, as we knew
that our time left here was all too short;
but in His skies God have a little corner
for you and me, and a piece of eternal love.

Your words fill my eyes with tears. So often, distance, fate, whatever keeps us physically apart. Yet, knowing that there is a corner in heaven where eternal love is shared ... oh my goodness ... incredible!
God bless you. Kathy
