This his the second part of three about the dreamlike encounter with her in my boat after navigating among magnolias and jasmines and rippled waters telling me how welcome I was.
Suddenly the salon of the boat didn’t seems so aloof, so full of emptiness…my “empty room full of empty space” wrapping my body with a strangling silence which should had been full of her whispers or of her happy laugh or of sigh of contentment.
In the middle of the room we were and I couldn’t let myself to let go as I pressed her against me like a in the middle of the seas, full of fears, a shipwreck survivor would embrace the only possession that will hold him alive.
She was here now…I couldn’t possible drown.
Outside the shore surrounding trees
were Autumn aging under the sky
that days before showed a rainbow
melted down by a weakening sun
dressing the trees with many hues
to frame her arrival, here, and at last
with a finality coming from surrender
dictated from the deepest of one’s heart.
A sudden breeze rocked the boat’s hull
as still we were in each other’s arms,
her face buried in my getting wet chest,
tears when one are so happy must cry?
with remembrances during long absences
or when we burst into a heartily laugh,
wetness running down my skin, warmth,
with the intimacy of two that became one.
My nose got entangled caressing her hair,
perfume of many gardens I took inside,
forbidden perfume, unavoidable spider’s web,
intoxicating scent of a woman so desired
that forced my face to be buried on her neck
as my lips the lob of her little ear they found,
tasting offered feminine nectars only dreamed,
gentle sucking it like to flowers do the butterflies.
A shudder, a delicate one, a trembling flower
getting wrapped by a sirocco wind from afar,
taking away all the strands of solitary snows
from a face now so radiant with blinding lights,
eyes looking up, no questioning, but searching
with a deep tenderness of any more pain its sign,
but she couldn’t find any as long as she were
inside my aching for her, old oak tree arms.
Felt her trembling body, pressing like a little
bird would, searching for a refuge against mine,
and love weak as I was, I felt that I was strong,
lift any weight suffocating her, with bare hands;
then, desperation took over, and our lips meet
trying to know if it all was a dream, to take back
the lost years in a passionate minute of feverish
hunger, devouring everything; the aphrodisiac.
Welcome my love…I whispered,
The fire was ignited…it was time.
An outstanding write, you never cease to deliver
Your words paint a masterful picture
As an Artist does with his canvass
a romantic autumn scene, in the beautiful mountains
Of a place, I now wish, I was witnessing Nature’s kaleidoscope
Among the Autumn foliage transformation with hues burning
through my mind,
As I once held her in the heavenliness of my embrace,
Loving moments, now lost in time, like tears in the rain.
Peace Brother
