Hey boys! remember? those first years at school and the girls with braid hair and rosa ribbons, or bangs reaching just above those big eyes that seem fountains of happines and that made you melt like a piece of ice in a summer sidewalk?
Well, this is for all of you...
The teacher said that
I shouldn’t look
so intense your hair
or to you…
but you see,
Little Red Head Girl,
mesmerized…
you have all of me;
it doesn’t matter
what they say about
of puppy-love been
got all full of goop
made of syrupee
if I can get a smile
from you
to only me,
maybe then
I could stop looking
to your head on fire
so endlessly;
and if you ask
your books to carry
most happy I will be
‘cause I could walk
beside a very sweet
Little Red Head Girl
alone…with me.

Georg...one of the ED's said you are you entering your second childhood. I say they are jealous.

I had to smile when I read this because it reminded me of my childhood friendship with the two Baggett Boys. Even though I didn't have red hair, they looked at me very much as you described here. If we had been civilian kids and not military brats, and been allowed to grow up together, there's little doubt I would have become Becky Baggett at some point. Perhaps God knew what He was doing by moving me away before I hit puberty! Rebecca
You talkin' to me? (De Niro style) : ) I heard it all as a child; "Hey, your head's on fire!" "Go ask carrot head." But the least pleasant was, "I'd rather be dead than red on the head." Your poem is quite pleasing, made me smile and wish you had gone to elementary school with me. I'm also happy to see more redheads in the world today, real or bottled. When you mix Irish, Scot and Dutch, you get red.
Darling Write Georg,
I had a boy give me his GI-Joe once.
GI-Joe made Ken very upset next time I played Barbies....lol

Oh Georg this is so adorable and I could picture a little boy and red headed girl walking home. Both with huge smiles on their little faces. How cute is this? Love, Bonnie
Nobleman's son, Todd Ramble, returns home after years abroad and finds himself falling in love with his step-sister, who was now a grown woman. Unfortunately their love is brutally challenged by his tyrannical father.
