Don't tell her that I was here...

Poem Artwork

I am in my tiredness a little broken,
with hopes of finding you...all worn.
Love that time kept under dust,
and longing of caresses so dead now.

I am here, still waiting
with the illusion that keeps all,
the first of the smiling dreams
and that first, that happy love.

I am, trying to convince myself that,
if life becomes a desert, almost,
I will wait...
with my little dream made of water,
to calm your thirst when you arrive…
for ever more.

why, judging from your picture would she need more water Georg, you gave her plenty as I can see, didn't you? you'd give her another drink, would she want it I ask? or am I reading this wrong? I mean, it could well be a most romantic allusion to giving her life again, is it? Just asking, Bless you Pal! Juergen.

Hi WE, "I am, trying to convince myself that,
if life becomes a desert, almost,
I will wait...
with my little dream made of water,
to calm your thirst when you arrive…
for ever more."

Maybe we all are fooling ourselves, eh? Remember though, man has never been able to create water, and it is the most powerful, healing creation! All respects to you, my friend...

In Spirit,
Bear

Beautiful yearning and that sentence "With my dream made of water, to calm your thirst when you arrive for ever more." I have not seen anything to match it or convey a love so masterfully.
