Love, an impossible dream

Love sometimes is in our heads, with a distant lover one doesn't have meet but fantasize how it will be, tenderness doesn't have a owner...

Poem Artwork

Love, a four letter word

In the melancholic shadows
of a shy and naked morning
I felt you curling on my side,
a sun, like you, not yet awake
was yawning on the horizon
afraid of disturbing my bride.

I felt sad, because the night
went away without adieus,
like a furtive girl, terrified
of awaking a dragon guard
that kept her the prisoner
‘til day came and she cried.

Night, when not even moon
could with her white fingers
make you shiver, not of fright,
but mine, explored all of you
with the curiosity of a first
lover with passion in his eyes.

Looking at you, tender love.
dormant on my arms, safe
after running for years, afraid,
that love will not be for you
but that impassible dreams that
no woman should be without.

After our trip inside each other,
swimming in perfect shadows
wrapping a naked lover’s night,
exhausted we didn’t slept but
felt each other’s heated skin
and that furious beating hearts.

But then, captive of my arms
you did closed your eyes and
dreamed that impossible dream.

Love truly is dreamy, but I refuse to believe that it's Impossible. Even if it's just 'in our heads,' it's very good.

You taken an overdose of this Viagra again, it's gone to your head, as this poem brings to a head all your heated passions unfulfilled, it's a good thing the pen can only do so much, your vivid description almost oozes of the page, darn I have to take up drinking again, your name by the way not Newhouse is it? So many will relate to this my friend for often an impossible dream lover offers a special romance and feeling of belonging that no other can. We do not always need a physical union to unite as one and this write expresses that will... well done my romantic friend.
