Imagine to have the chance to enter a peaceful garden from a world rendered in shambles and destruction.
Imagine that in hell's earth you finally find Paradise...
The forest was burned out to ashes
and the city was total destroyed too,
yet, wrapped by old crumbling walls
still alive the secret garden of yours,
with the pristine blue skies above
and the green meadows that flew
down from enchanted golden castles
where maiden played a god’s flute,
and where butterflies will never die
or go away from our searching view.
Rags clinging from my tired body
around crumbling walls without a door,
I imagine you there patiently waiting
as you have done so many times before,
when absence pulled me away and time
tied me down with a Gordian knot,
you was always there, longing for me
as I sailed Ulysses many seas storms,
knowing that on my return to the garden
you will be there with a kiss so warmth.
Flaming red hair like a lighted camp fire
it would keep me from getting lost,
as my aching arms will embrace tightly
so the ice will never reach your world,
the one existing in our astral secret garden
where there are many Yes and not one Not,
with an ethereal wrapping gossamer skin
like a chrysalis cocoon holding our love,
our bodies will blend into one entity as man
the rest of the Universe he will destroy.
Georg - As I read this rich poem, the idea of a being walking a destroyed civilization and discovering these words as the only evidence of a lost world kept popping into my mind. What would he think? - David

Paradise - truly a place worthy of penning many a poem. Our planet was once such a place; perhaps there is hope yet of finding such a Paradise in the next life.
A journey of a longing soul in paradise, a chrysalis of love and butterflies, of green and beauty forever, how very deep and clever you constructed this beauty and refuge, that longs in all of us, or let's say most of us, you are on God the Creator side in this one.
