dont you just hate it
when your supposed to learning something
and your just too danged
stubborn, onrey, set in your own beliefs
to get it
like a stubborn ole mule
lessons
like liking yourself
and your life
and all the people your lucky enough
to hang with
lessons
like appreciating your gifts
God given ones
presents from a higher power
the ability
to look into an eye and see a heart
the ability
to feel the pain of another
the absolute
joy of putting it all in words
and having someone GET it
and what i hate even worse
is
when the lesson finally sinks in this hardpan skull
i say
o yeah, well, you know i'm kinda dense
but i hear you
the message is loud and clear
you have given me so much
and all your asking is
that
i appreciate it
kay wellllll i can do that
you know like from the heart
i mean really appreciate it
all of it
life and all i mean all of its kick you in the pants
now get up so i can do it again

SCHOOLS OUT FOR THE SUMMER
It is true that we grow wiser in time, however we must be ever so careful not to let our stubborness block our ability to learn I have had to re-analyze my thinking so many times after finding that I can learn lots more if I keep an open mind and am not too set in my ways. Josie, you have always found ways to learn from others and that is what makes you so ahead of it all and I must laugh when you say you are stubborn as an ole mule. I don't think so! Well, maybe a smidgeon...lol :)
