my cheek upon it's sill

the window
was open
curtains gentle white soft
billowing beckoning
my cheek upon it’s sill
a quiet place
a safe place
a dream place
like cinderella’s corner
all the world
hopes, desires
a home for my heart

and I walk on by______________
