did you ever do anything
just stupid
I mean hello
stupid
never should of said
did
kept to yourself
kinda stupid
I have
I wouldn’t hurt
another soul
really
but sometimes my mouth
just runs
spouts off stupid like
and
there are consequences
always
to rashness
you open your mouth
stick your foot in
and
bam
your gonna pay
it happens
and then there’s that gut dropping
realization
that
you did it
and you can’t take it back
can’t uncut the wound
can’t pretend you didn’t say that
cause you did
even if at the time you felt all the
justification that it was ok
it’s not ever
ok
to hurt someone
ever
no matter what the justification is
hurt
mean spiteful words
are not cool
anyways
I’m
sorry……
Jose,
I would have dropped the tail of course,as we have spoken before, yet tis youre work screw what others say!
Now to the meat of the matter lass, I must say you spoke my very heart! My mouth has gotten me into ALL the trouble I have ever been in my life! Yet.........It escorted me into grand halls of greatness as well.....I bow in retreat, I like the honesty in your work! A rare damn thing in the world of copy cat bull...., alas my passion overtakes me again, allowing wordy to fly! I retreat in bow and salute...

Yes I often take offense where it does not exist. Then I feel guilty and very sorry. I know that when I run off at the mouth most of the time I am wrong and even when I am right I am wrong. There could have been a softer gentler way. Bill

Some people are thick-stinned, while others are too sensitive. Some are tactful, others are brutally honest. Just be yourself, and let the chips fall where they may. Very good.
"but you started it" I say that under my breath. Great write Josie

Boy, do I see what you mean--have to join the twins in saying "you're talkin' 'bout me"...
Too often, too loose, the mouth goes roamin' too free--
Making me wish I had no vocabulary...
you're talkin' bout me, too..i don't think before i open my mouth. and then i wonder why daddy would call me "bugle mouth" while growing up. (oh, how i would get MAD when he called me that!!) i AM a bugle mouth at times!! love, your friend with the bugle mouth, karen lynn. ((((HUGS))))) :)
{{{jo}}} you talkin' 'bout me...i spout off before i can b-i-t-e-m-y-t-o-n-g-u-e!! this is one write i can relate to...if i've did or said anything to offend, please forgive...i'm just...stupid at times. (((HUGS))) and love, karla. :) (thanks for your commentary on my poems, dear!)
