it is midnite
too late for me
to be
hanging out
tired I am and stupid
riddled with
who am I
what am I
doubts
I want right now
to crawl into
a safe place
of
acceptance
and
love
of
peace and understanding
without
all the hypocrisy I see
mostly about me
well that would be all
I
see
damn if I can’t figure out
what
I
want
damned if I can’t get a
friggin
thing straight
damned
it
all
and one things for sure
I
shouldn’t be drinking
and
trying to write
poetry
that’s for damned sure

sorry for my sorry ass bye leaving going nitenite done finished
over
and
out

now that was truly a stream of consciousness drop right there!. lol...gotta let these thoughts out, release all inhibitions between the body and the mind so that your pen becomes the direct conduit to your soul. i see you're well on the way, over there...blessings, poet...

Me too, you two. It's 1 am here, and my muse has dried up. My bed is calling me. Nice poem, Josie. A glass of wine sounds heavenly, but alas, I am diabetic. I just sniff corks now. [smiles]
