Dear Rhonda,
Twice this week I almost fell off my chair
Figuratively speaking, of course!
The first time was when I saw your unexpected Haiku
The second time was early this morning
When I sat down to do my devotions!
You see, Rhonda, the Lord knew
That your Haiku made me blush
And He also knew I felt undeserving
So, when I opened my Bible this morning
The first thing my eyes beheld
Was the verse from Romans 12:10
“Be devoted to one another in brotherly love.
Honor one another above yourselves.”
Yes, my eyeballs popped wide open
Any sleep that was hanging around
Lost its grip and fled
And I almost fell off my chair!
I believe this is how the Lord works
In mysterious ways when you believe
He wanted to reassure me
That it ‘s okay to be honored
In brotherly love!
God is so gracious…life, for me, would be nothing without Him!
How do others get by without Him puzzles me!
Thank you., Rhonda, you have taught me something important!
May God bless you abundantly for all the good deeds you do
And for the unconditional love you show to so many!
Now it’s my turn to honor you, dear sister in Christ!
You are one terrific, God-fearing woman
With a heart of gold!

Who can honestly operate this way in these days whe so many are jealous and envious of one another and so out of touch.
Lena, dear sister, your writing always seems so timely and provokes, or touches, a nerve in me.
As Rhonda said below: "In silent tears" can only be a touch from the Holy Spirit. A seed in season to produce a harvest in season!
