Before the Final Curtain Call

Our world is in a tailspin

Not just are there occasional troubles

In diverse places…but in every place

Calamity after calamity abound

With great intensity!

This made urgent a study

Of Revelation

Last year in Bible Class

And boy! What a study that was!

All preconceived ideas about the Book

Were purposely ignored

For the Book in its literal form is spellbinding!

The Book is all about Jesus you know

The many chances He allows for all to repent

Before the final curtain call  

Ah, how exciting it would be

When He finally returns to cleanse the world

Of its unrighteousness!

Would you not rather be among the few

Who make it into Heaven

Before the great tribulation that

Promises nothing but doom?

Or would you rather out of curiosity

Remain to face the devastation

Which the undecided

Would not escape?

In view of the present state of affairs

Where our world is concerned

Have a second think about your future

Where you’d rather spend it

And what you’d rather be doing!

While understanding Revelation

Might seem somewhat confusing

It says in Chapter one verse three

“Blessed is he that readeth,

And they that hear the words of this prophecy.

And keep those things which are written therein;

For the time is at hand.”

Yes, there is still time

Before the final curtain call!

Whatever you do don’t sit on the fence

Check out Romans 10 verse 9

 It’s a matter of eternal life or death!
