The Slippery Slope of Deception

Say our youth

Three pronouns

But one individual

Defined as a single person

Or thing separate or distinct!

From individual comes individualism

A principle of living one’s life one’s way

So explains any trusted English Dictionary

But young people if you're not careful or cautious
Individualism will lead you down
The slippery slope of deception
And before long you end up
In a web of loneliness and despair
Hence the saying you've reached rock-bottom
A word of caution before flirting with deception  
Which is cleverly disguised as individualism
Delete the ism and just be an individual
Who seeks neither fame nor self-pity
Rather preferring to be a beacon
Of hope for others who
Might be tempted to
Slide down the
Slippery slop
Of woe
Is
Me!

“Let your light so shine before men,
that they may see your good works
and glorify your Father
which is in Heaven.”
