Just piling logs in the fireplace of your heart, anticipating events in December... :)
Just Imagine By h. lena jones Oh, I was hoping you�d drop in �Cause I�d like to send you on a journey Imagine it is Christmas right now in October Take a horse and buggy ride around your neighborhood Watch the host of colorful fairy lights blinking Marvel at the various creative displays Of decorations and nativity scenes Glimpse through windows The happy faces of grown-ups and children As they trim the Christmas tree Feel the joy that�s in the air The peace that spreads within your heart Taste the scrumptious turkey dinner Hear the chatter and laughter As folk share those precious moments Of Christmases gone before Let your imaginary journey take you to the cave Where baby Jesus, wrapped in swaddling clothes Waits to greet you with a gurgle of love Reminding you of the reason for the season And the unexplained peace and joy Which permeate the Earth And touches the emotions of all of mankind Even if they don�t all believe in Him But your journey need not end here Make everyday like Christmas day Spread the love of God to all you encounter Because that�s what baby Jesus did The day they came to see Him in the stable Give thanks to God for making you The loving person you are today! �Glory to God in the highest And on earth peace Good will toward men,� sang the Heavenly host! (Luke 2:14) Christmas time will soon be here Let�s make a point to really remember The reason for the season!

Beautiful work, Lena. There are many who want to mask Christmas. It is not considerred politically correct to say "MERRY CHRISTMAS." Now we are told to say Happy Holidays. They are even calling it Decemberfest. I say MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT. lET US NOT FORGET THE FIRST SIX LETTERS IN CHRISTMAS IS "CHRIST."
