Soap Operas!
If life was A Soap Opera by h. lena jones If life was a soap opera I sure wouldn�t want to be part of it Everyone dressed up in expense garb As if money actually grows on trees People flitting in and out of relationships With no thought of consequences Shouting matches are a norm And gossiping has no boundaries Nor for that matter morals Nope, not my cup of tea Life�s much too short And there�s so much To do!

Amen, dear Lena! A good poem and well-spoken. The ONLY good thing about them is that they make our own lives seem more legitimate and manageable. Other than that, I hate the darn things.

Lena, I never liked Soap opera's. For one thing the acting is bad. I think they call it overacting. Second, the time spent watching could be spent creating something, like a better me.

There's so much to do. And I accuse myself and others of not doing enough. You are right. I hate soap operas. They are too shallow and frankly I do not think they reflect life so much. Victor
