To follow peace must be awfully boring. Hatred, war, and killing seem much more fun...and some even think that will get them a place in heaven. Yeah, right! Dream on is what I say...
Many people in the world today are either sitting idle or are living as if there is no tomorrow, no heaven or hell...just living for the day. The sad thing is that as many are going on their own way the bible is unfolding before their very eyes! The war is only one more chapter being fulfilled...those that take lives with the beliefs of gaining eternal life are yet a prophesy coming to pass...someone made the comment the other day, "I don't know what the world is coming to!" I quickly added, "an end!" Several people left the room, they don't wont to hear about this...but the word tells us that they will run to the rocks to hide on that great day! It's coming and sooner I'm afraid than what many expect! I appreciate every day...gives us a little more praying time for those whom are still lost! Great write my friend, very thought provoking! Lena, this poem is such an inspirational true poem...the voice comes from the heart. The people in this world are suffering and have turned to violence and hate to compensate for their anger...it's sad!! Wouldn't it be wonderful to see all countries at peace with each other and showing care for all people? I enjoyed this a lot!

Your poem "Follow Peace" reflects the floundering of our times. I've seen this world come from best to worst, and it doesn't seem to be getting better. HOW SAD IT IS FOR THE POOR CHILDREN WHO MUST SUFFER THE MISTAKES FROM THE SHAMBLES OTHERS HAVE MADE IN THIS COUNTRY.
