This old poem took on a new significance a while ago - didn't it Janny?

Your eyes are full of secrets,
your smile is full of promises.
Our moods fit well together
even though our bodies never can.
When the sun crawls reluctantly
across a grey-washed sky
your aura lifts my colours.
Always stay close to me so
you can be my Prozac.
And let me be your heroin,
I want you to be addicted to me.

I wouldn't mind being addicted to someone, but without the thought of an artificial product or natural product to make it happen. If it is love - love contains its own addiction. Prozac may rob you of genius and heroin dull your senses to the point of making you sick, mentally and physically. Insightful writing. Bill

Great writing; most impressive in its brevity....

This is a most unique expression concerning Prozac, and
I enjoyed your "new meaning" put to it.
"Your aura lifts my colors," is my favorite line.

Great lines, great pill to have. Thanks.

Ian.. the last verse... definitely that last line, had a physical effect on me as I read... and not entirely for the reasons you may think.
Your theme rings... your aim is true... but as simply a piece of poetry, the phrasing, the impact... it was an experience as well
as a poetry reading. That's what I have to say here. I think it may follow me. katy xox.
