"What if you could wryte a woman? Not wryte to a woman, but WRYTE a woman..."
Stanza 1
I want to wryte you!
Incite the dendrites
that excite my synaptic gaps
to ignite my mind,
take flight and alight
in my wryting tool, whose delight
is to describe you
and inscribe you
from the lines, to a live you.
Alive to imbibe from the brew
that only love will allow us to consume.
And commune with you
in this tomb
called earth like I'm your groom
and this life birthed from my plume,
our honeymoon.
Our time, a gift like money strewn
at the foot of the throne of the ruler of me & you.
We. Us.
And it seems like you're my personal Jesus;
the Word becomes flesh.
My verbs and nouns
surround your curves
and in turn, turn your fate
from a journal state
to my paper mate.
Stanza 2
I want to wryte you!
You haunt the gravesite of my mind
and flaunt the chains that enslave my rhymes.
Caught in the web of your guise
while your eyes infuse life
and cause my dead thoughts to rise,
I pause and realize
that your reality lies
in the laws that I call on when
you fall on my pen
as it crawls on these lines
and tingles my spine.
As my fingers furiously scribe thy form, my eyes,
blinded from the storm of desire
that swarms inside,
turn their irises skyward,
so that my third one's sight
cause my words text to mix
with my mind's words, lift
from the cortex of the lines
and remix you from a world of rhymes,
to the Lexus of the fairer sex,
right down to the light brown flecks
in your eyes!
Stanza 3
I want to wryte you.
Assume the position
of one of the 26 just to get to U.
Become the letter T to be next to U.
Regress to S to make U, us
'Cuz U R in truth,
the beginning of my universe
because U are in Jesus.
I'll Colleague with Y and O to be with you.
I can't split from U,
'cuz no union exists apart from U and I.
U - N - I . . .
O - N.
Flowin'
across the parts of speech
that starts to reach
when my lips part to speak
my heart which flutters
when my art starts to utter
words that sound like s-s-stutters, slurs
and guttural murmurings
when sputterin' verbs
I use to learn the world about you.
I want to turn and always see U
like I was the letter Q.
U - E - E - N.
Unseen by men,
supreme woman,
to me you'll always be
the Queen of my pen!
